About Danny C. Holder
Danny Holder developed an interest in drafting and mechanical drawing early on. In the ’90s, he designed and built custom furniture after studying wood at the Appalachian Center for Craft. His interest in painting came later.
Over the years, Mr. Holder completed commission pieces ranging from murals to specialized oil paintings. His interest in horse paintings had its origin in owning horses from a young age to the present. He studied equine art since the late 90’s. Mr. Holder has shared his interest in painting commissioned work and by teaching others.
Danny Holder completed an undergraduate degree from Welch College in the early 80’s.
In the mid 80’s he completed two graduate degrees in the areas of educational psychology and counselor education from Tennessee Tech University. He is currently retired from the public school sector where he worked as a school psychologist.
